Welcome Molly Linn-Miller!

January 11, 2018

We are very excited to announce a new face to our practitioner line-up! Molly Linn-Miller is a Masters Level Art Therapist, with credentials from the Art Therapy Credentials Board.

“Some people choose to make art because art in itself is therapeutic and relaxing for them, relieving stress or reducing anxiety.  Others take it a step further by using metaphors and symbols to represent themselves through the art, whether it’s their present feelings, difficulties with a relationship or other life situation”.

Molly Linn-Miller has always had a passion for art.  After many years of making her own art she discovered the art therapy profession.  Using an expressive arts approach, Molly guides her clients and workshop participants through the artistic process to improve and/or enhance their mental and emotional health.  Molly encourages clients to explore and experiment with a variety of traditional and non-traditional materials such as drawing, painting, clay, collage and natural objects.

She has worked with a wide range of populations and ages including those facing grief and loss, adults with disabilities and mental illness, children and adults on the autism spectrum, and families.  She focuses on expressive therapies and visual art approach to counseling.  Using imagery and symbols to tell their stories her clients discover pathways to wellness and change.

Art is not only versatile with the number of art mediums available, but it stands out from other therapy options because it is tangible.  The finished art piece is tangible and allows one to take a step back and uncover new perspectives on personal issues.

Molly will be offering:

*small art groups, both one time and ongoing

*art workshops

*one on one art therapy sessions

Come explore the art-making process to learn more about yourself!
