Rachel is a Wellness and Natural Health Practitioner and has been practicing wellness for almost 30 years. She went to Black Hills State University where she studied Outdoor Education and minored in Music Education. While at B.H.S.U. Rachel did her Senior Internship in Ethnobotany. She also got her CIG (Certified Interpretive Guide), EMT-B and worked with Spearfish Ambulance and E.R. and Whitewood Volunteer Fire Department. From here she went on to train and get her license as a Massage Therapist from Texas Health School where she graduated as valedictorian of her class. Rachel specialized in Medical Message and worked with Health Source Chiropractic where she developed techniques to help alleviate spinal issues causing headaches, sciatica, and more. She then went on to become a Reiki Master.
After a brief sabbatical Rachel decided it was time to continue her journey in wellness with Yoga training at Abundant Joy Yoga. Rachel is currently working on a new book about plants and their uses in wellness. She now teaches Yoga, Meditation, Reiki, Herbalism, and Wellness giving workshops and classes across the US.
