Empower Yourself  To Change.

Hello, my name is Jeff. I'm grateful that you're reading this and hope to help you with YOUR healing needs. My background in the medical system is not what brought me to become part of it. In fact, my experiences with the medical system are what brought me to start doing massage therapy, which led me to Myofascial Release (John F. Barnes Method).

The medical system has been and still is constructed and operated by using principles that view the human body as a machine, a machine that is controlled by a central nervous system all controlled by our brain. Though well-intentioned, this model treats the person as if they were constructed on an assembly line rather than treating them as an individual. The belief that our conscious mind can control our physiology, emotions, beliefs and subconscious mind is not only false, but it has also turned healthcare into a symptom-chasing mega business in which the human body is viewed as a collection of systems and parts. This view is a reductionist one and is in complete contrast to what both science and traditional "holistic" medicine have known for centuries, that we are connected. The parts are merely pieces of the whole. This truth was forced upon me when my own body and mind were at the brink of hopelessness. Years of past injuries, traumas, and abuses gave me a unique view of current healthcare and drove me to do better. First, I had to change myself. To change me, I had to find myself.

The fascial system, you know, the one that most of us never learned about in school, is the direct link to both mind-body connections and to the all-important subconscious. I'm not saying that ALL medical conditions are fascial ones. I'm simply saying that without addressing the only system that connects all the other systems together is a "missing link" in healthcare that can no longer be ignored. While many other forms of therapy have a role in easing symptoms myofascial release has the profound potential to not only change the physiological aspects of the human body, it can also release,  therefore altering the subconscious holding patterns that keep us in the vicious cycle of dysfunction. Change is essential for growth and healing. It's not an event, it's a process so embrace it. The results will provide all the evidence one needs if they are committed to letting go of old beliefs and begin realizing their potential.  For me, I am simply trying to be the change I wish to see in this world, one person at a time. Thank you for reading and I hope to meet you someday!
