Jade TerMaat

John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Practitioner, Licensed Massage Therapist #13726-146

Jade received her first massage when she was nine years old as a gift from her Aunt. She then received them on and off irregularly throughout her teenage years as a way to cope with anxiety and depressive moods. Jade is grateful that her family introduced her not only to massage but also to a holistic-based lifestyle at a young age. After having two children of her own, she was inspired to get into the field of healing and acquired her Massage License from Herzing University in 2015. She enjoys working with all people, including children and the elderly. Jade provides a safe and comfortable space for clients in need of relaxation and pain relief.

Jade is a born artist who enjoys drawing and painting and sees Massage Therapy as an extension of her artistic heart. The art of Massage Therapy has allowed her to step deep into her being and she enjoys guiding others into doing the same. Society is increasingly fast-paced, making it easy to feel and become disconnected from ourselves. It is Jade's goal to welcome her clients back into "being" by increasing self-awareness and including them in becoming an active part of their healing experience. To help achieve self-awareness Jade often uses breathwork, gentle stretches, and aromatherapy within each session. She helps ease each client into a state of feeling which can encourage opportunity to heal.

Jade is certified in Swedish, Cupping, Myofascial Release I, Reiki Level I. Trained in Prenatal, Oncology, Hot Stone, Raindrop Therapy. Member of Wisconsin MFR Study Group. Currently being trained to become a Restorative Yoga Teacher.
